About Us

For more than 50 years Community Action has been offering hope, help and change for families in transition. Our programs promote the birth of healthy babies, reduce the potential for child abuse and neglect, increase children’s chances for success in school and life and improve the quality and accessibility of child care. We offer additional support to those in need such as energy assistance, services that help to prevent homelessness and energy conservation. We believe that when families get the right resources at the right time our community becomes stronger and more resilient.
